Rebecca Lane

All-time Saint Joseph's women's lacrosse great Rebecca Lane enters her first collegiate coaching season in 2020 as a student assistant on the Hawks' coaching staff.

Lane was a four-year starting attacker on Hawk Hill from 2016-19 and will focus her efforts on the offensive side of the ball.

Lane is Saint Joseph's program record-holder in career assists, dishing out 84 helpers through 58 games played, and is just one of two Hawks in program history to amass over 200 points. Lane scored 125 career goals, which ranks fifth all-time, on 284 shots for a blistering shooting percentage of 44% for her career.

A two-time Atlantic 10 All-Conference selection and the 2016 A-10 Rookie of the Year, Lane totaled 30+ goals and 20+ assists in each of her first three seasons before falling to a season-ending injury early into her senior year, where she went for 24 points (18g, 6a) through just seven games.

Lane was the only Hawk to earn the 2019 A-10 Postgraduate Scholarship, for having performed with distinction both in the classroom and on the field while demonstrating exemplary conduct in the community.

The two-year team captain led the Hawks to four consecutive A-10 postseason semifinals from 2016-19.

A native of Melbourne, Australia and product of Maribyrnong College '15, Lane graduated from Saint Joseph's University in May 2019 with a degree in psychology. She is currently working toward her Writing Studies M.A. on Hawk Hill.
