Tim Stierle, a 2018 graduate of Saint Joseph's, returns for his third season as a volunteer assistant with the Hawk tennis programs.
Stierle played his final two collegiate seasons on Hawk Hill and earned Atlantic 10 All-Conference First Team honors in both the 2016-17 and 2017-18 campaigns. He also claimed the title in the first singles flight at the Saint Joseph's Invitational in each of those years as well, while adding Atlantic 10 All-Academic and Philadelphia Inquirer Academic All-Area honors as a senior. Stierle graduated with a .660 winning percentage in the Crimson and Gray, good for eighth in program history.
Prior to Saint Joseph's, Stierle attended Tusculum College, where he was named the 2015-16 South Atlantic Conference Player of the Year, earning First Team All-Conference accolades in both singles and doubles play.
Stierle is a native of Böblingen, Germany.
