Adam Gault joined Saint Joseph’s University in July 2022 and serves as Director of Annual Fund Campaigns in University Advancement. In his role, Gault oversees the University’s annual giving campaigns while working closely with Hawk Athletics on fundraising, donor engagement and stewardship efforts supporting Saint Joseph’s student-athletes and varsity programs. His work includes collaborating with Athletics leadership and coaches, engaging alumni and supporters, and helping lead philanthropic initiatives including the Hawk Athletic Fund, Support Your Sport and the University’s annual Day of Giving. Since joining Saint Joseph’s, Gault has helped coordinate Day of Giving campaigns that have generated more than $2.5 million from over 10,000 donors.
Prior to joining Saint Joseph’s, Gault spent nearly eight years at Roman Catholic High School in Philadelphia, including more than four years as Director of Development and Alumni Relations. During his tenure, he significantly grew annual giving and scholarship tax-credit support while overseeing donor relations, stewardship, communications, alumni engagement and special events. He previously served as Roman’s Director of Admissions and Communication, where he helped significantly grow enrollment and recruited the largest incoming freshman class among the 17 Archdiocese of Philadelphia high schools for two consecutive years.
Gault also served as Roman Catholic’s head wrestling coach from 2012 to 2019, rebuilding the program from an 18th-place District 12 finish with no regional qualifiers to a third-place finish with eight regional qualifiers just three years later. During his tenure, Roman produced the first two state tournament qualifiers in program history and, in 2018, its first state tournament medalist. He has also worked as a professional wrestling referee since 2013. Gault earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Scranton in 2012, double majoring in communication and political science, and is currently pursuing his MBA at Saint Joseph’s University.
