David Reick

David Reick

David Reick joined the Saint Joseph's coaching staff in November 2024 as an assistant coach, overseeing all sprints and hurdles.

Prior to joining Hawk Hill, Reick spent nearly three seasons at Saint Francis (Pa.). In his first season with the Red Flash, Reick helped guide the women's team to back-to-back outdoor conference titles. He coached three gold medal winners and three sliver medalists at the 2022 Outdoor Conference Championships. 
 
Previously, Reick had a stint at Penn State University where he served as a volunteer assistant track and field coach for two seasons. He coached two individual Big Ten Conference champions and one two-time USATF Indoor long jump runner-up with the Nittany Lions.
 
As a high school assistant coach, Reick coached 14 Pennsylvania state medalist athletes, including five state champions.
 
Prior to Reick’s coaching career, Reick was a varsity track & field athlete at La Salle University from 2014-2015. Reick also competed as a Nike sponsored athlete in 2019.
 
Reick graduated from Temple University in 2019 with a bachelor’s degree in Sport and Recreation Management and a concentration in Governance and Policy.
