Kevin Ahern begins his first year as Saint Joseph’s Senior Associate Athletics Director for Revenue Generation in 2026-27.
In his role, Ahern focuses on increasing revenue from traditional revenue streams such as ticket sales and corporate sponsorships while identifying new opportunities. Ahern has direct oversight regarding revenue generation functions. He works directly with our partners at Van Wagner and CLC, along with serving as liaison to the University partnerships team.
Ahern came to Saint Joseph’s after serving as Villanova’s Associate Athletics Director for Ticket Operations. Joining Villanova in 2017 as Director of Ticket Operations, Ahern led the Wildcats through pivotal transitions, including the transition to a fully digital ticketing experience and the re-seating associated with the $65 million Finneran Pavilion renovation. Along with spearheading ticketing strategy across all of Villanova’s athletic program, Ahern managed donor and fan post-season allocations. Additionally, he worked directly with venue operations, including games held at Xfinity Mobile Arena.
Prior to Villanova, Ahern spent six years with Major League Soccer's Philadelphia Union, rising from Account Executive to Director of Season Ticket Sales while generating more than $3.9 million in inventory sales. He previously held ticket sales roles with CBS Collegiate Sports Properties from 2007 to 2009 and the Philadelphia Eagles in 2007.
Ahern earned a Bachelor of Science degree in sports management with a minor in accounting from Neumann University in 2007. Ahern and his wife, Megan, reside in Kennett Square with their sons, Landon, Grayson and Weston.
