Grote comes to Hawk Hill in 2023-24 after stops at Lehigh, Penn State, La Salle, American and Iona. Most recently with the Mountain Hawks, Grote helped Lehigh to the Patriot League semifinals with a pair of attackers making all-conference honors. Grote helped coach Gabby Schneider to a First Team All-Patriot League selection, finishing her career as the all-time assist leader and top three in points at Lehigh. Olivia Memeger also earned Second Team honors, one of three Mountain Hawks with 50 points on the season.

Prior to her time at Lehigh, Grote spent two seasons at Penn State as offensive coordinator for the Nittany Lions. The Ellicott, Md. native helped guide Kristin O’Neil to 59 goals in 2023, earning Tewaaraton Watch List honors. In her two seasons at Penn State, the Nittany Lions recorded eight All-Big Ten, five All-Region and three All-American selections.

Grote returns to Philadelphia after a two-year stint at La Salle as the offensive coordinator. In the two seasons with the Explorers, La Salle averaged 12.67 and 11.64 goals per game in 2020 and 2021, respectively.

Before 20th and Olney, Grote spent two seasons as an assistant at American in 2018 and 2019. Grote helped direct the Eagle offense to some of its best production in over five years in the 2019 season, helping guide three players to recording 30+ goals.

Grote made her start in the collegiate ranks at Iona, spending a season with the Gaels in 2017. Prior, Grote made her start in coaching at the youth and high school level where she was a head coach and an assistant coach at Mesa Lacrosse and Triple H Lacrosse.

A four-year starter at New Hampshire, Grote was a captain and earned America East Second Team All-Conference honors in her senior season.
