Rick Gallagher serves as an assistant athletic trainer for the Saint Joseph's men's lacrosse program.

Gallagher came to Hawk Hill with experience locally at The Shipley School, Arcadia, Penn and Temple. With the Quakers, Gallagher worked directly with the baseball program, while at Temple, he assisted the football team's training staff. Gallagher received his  Master of Science in Athletic Training from Temple in 2024 and a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology in 2022.

Gallagher’s professional experience spans decades as an ice hockey official, supervisor, and instructor at the professional, collegiate, and amateur levels, along with a successful career as a software developer. Dedicated to service, he has volunteered at major athletic events such as the Penn Relays, EIWA Wrestling Championships, and the Special Olympics.
