Hawks Head to First Atlantic 10 Baseball Championship on Wednesday
2012: Appeared in 18 games, making 14 starts behind the plate...Had two hits, a run scored, and one RBI in the win over Maryland Eastern Shore on March 13...Went 2-for-3 with two runs scored and a run batted in against Seton Hall on May 8.
2011: Took over the everyday catching duties, starting 38 games and appearing in 43...Posted career bests in most offensive categories, including hits (31) and runs batted in (18)...Went 2-for-4 with two runs scored and two RBI, including his first career home run, as the Hawks won at Rhode Island, 5-4, on April 15; it marked SJU's first win over the Rams since 2002...Drove in five runs one week later as SJU dumped Dayton, 8-4, on April 22...Also showed great improvement behind the plate, throwing out 15 runners attempting to steal, tops on the team...Earned the team's Scholar-Athlete Award and was named to the Philadelphia Big 5 Baseball All-Academic Team.
