Ginger Flocco joins the SJU women's lacrosse coaching staff this year as an assistant coach.
A 2005 graduate from Duquesne, Flocco concluded her career first in the record books in game-winning goals (10) and draw controls (198); second in points (229), goals (177), games played (67) and games started (67). Flocco was also third in assists (58), fourth in caused turnovers (108), and fifth in ground balls (124).
A member of the Director of Athletics' Honor Roll in 2003, '04 and '05, as well as being named to the A-10 Commissioner's honor roll and member of Phi Eta Sigma national honor society. In 2004, Flocco set a single season goal record with 58 goals and was named the Atlantic 10 Offensive Player of the Year as well as a National Third Team All-American by Inside Lacrosse. Named First Team Mid-Atlantic Regional All-American in 2004 and 2005 and to the A-10 All-Championship Team in both 2004 and 2005. In 2005, broke the league's mark for points in a championship game by totaling 13 in the two games. A three-time all A-10 pick. Selected for the 2005 North/South Senior All Star Game. A 2005 Inside Lacrosse National Second Team All American.
Flocco received a bachelors degree in elementary education.
