PHILADELPHIA (2/16/04) - Freshman pitcher Adriano Petrutz has been named the Atlantic 10's Baseball Rookie of the Week for the week ending on Sunday, February 15. In his collegiate debut Saturday at Virginia Commonwealth, Petrutz tossed 2 2/3 innings of scoreless ball out of the bullpen as SJU fell to VCU, 7-0. He fanned three and yielded just two hits.
