PHILADELPHIA (1/20/04) - Saint Joseph's senior guard Erin Brady has been honored as the Philadelphia Big 5 Player of the Week for her performance in two Atlantic 10 road wins over Xavier and Dayton. For the week, Brady averaged 13.5 points per game, six assists per game, and four steals per game. It is the second time in her career that she has been cited by the Big 5. In a 59-53 win over Xavier on Friday, Brady scored a team-high 14 points on 6-for-9 shooting and dished five assists. She scored 13 points, distributed seven assists, grabbed six rebounds and had five steals in a 68-59 victory over Dayton. The co-captain leads the team in assists (54) and steals (28) and is third on the team in scoring (9.9). Saint Joseph's is riding a five-game winning streak and is 10-4 overall and 5-0 in the Atlantic 10.
