The unbeaten Hawks, 23-0 and 12-0 in the conference have already clinched their second consecutive Atlantic 10 East title. With a win over Temple, Saint Joseph's can also clinch its second outright Big 5 title in a row.
The teams last met on January 31 with the Hawks scoring an 83-71 win. Saint Joseph's posted a conference and school record 20 3-pointers in the game, as Jameer Nelson and Delonte West scored 21 points apiece.
The Hawks' win over Fordham on Wednesday gave Nelson and classmate Tyrone Barley the school record for victories by a four-year class. Nelson and Barley own a 91-26 record in their four seasons.
Saint Joseph's takes to the road next week, traveling to New England to face Massachusetts on Wednesday, Feb. 25 and Rhode Island on Saturday, Feb. 28 in an ESPN2 contest.
