NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ (4/21/04) -- Four singles matches went to three sets but Saint Joseph's couldn't muster a win at any position in a 7-0 loss at Rutgers on Wednesday. Sophomores Jimmy Holland and A.J. Garabedian won 8-5 at #1 doubles, but the duo was the only winners as SJU finishes its season with a 10-10 record.
Junior Francisco Velazquez won the first set, 6-3, of his match at #1 singles, but dropped the next two, 7-5 and 6-3 to Tyler Deming. Holland did the same with a 6-4 first set win at #2, but lost the next two sets, 6-4, 6-3.
