PHILADELPHIA (02/21/03) - The Saint Joseph's backcourt tandem of junior Jameer Nelson and sophomore Delonte West picked up the first of many postseason honors as they were selected to the NABC first and second team all-District III teams, respectively. Nelson, who was a second team all-District selection in each of his first two seasons on Hawk Hill, was joined on the first team by Andre Barrett (Seton Hall), Gary Buchanan (Villanova), Brandin Knight (Pittsburgh) and Ugonna Onyekwe (Pennsylvania). West, a leading candidate for Atlantic 10 Most Improved Player, was joined on the second team by Robert Battle (Drexel), Keydren Clark (St. Peter's), Julius Page (Pittsburgh) and Ricky Wright (Villanova).
