PHILADELPHIA (2/17/03) - Saint Joseph's University junior Bill McCollum has been named the Atlantic 10 Conference Pitcher of the Week for the week ending on Sunday, February 16. The crafty lefthander hurled a complete-game three-hitter to lead SJU to its first win of the season on February 14 at Virginia Commonwealth, 3-2. McCollum surrendered just one hit over the final five innings and both runs he allowed wer unearned. VCU was ranked 25th Baseball America's preseason poll.
