FLUSHING, NY (10/03/03) -- The Hawk men's tennis team proved it belonged in the region's best teams when it was invited to the ECAC Championships which takes the top 16 teams in the region. But Brown, the nation's 46th ranked team, didn't give much of a welcome with a 7-0 blanking of the Hawks.

Van Homer Pangilinan dropped a 6-0, 6-1 decision to Jamie Cerretani, who was ranked #99 in the country by
