PHILADELPHIA (2/07/04) - Saint Joseph's senior center Stephanie Graff dominated the post in two games and was rewarded as the Atlantic 10 and Philadelphia Big 5 Player of the Week, the conference office announced today. The 6-2 forward averaged a double-double and became the 17th Hawk to reach the 1,000 point milestone in Sunday's 58-48 win over Richmond. Graff scored 17 points and set a career-high with 16 rebounds in a crucial Atlantic 10 win over the Spiders. She responded with another double-double on Friday at St. Bonaventure, setting a career high with 25 points and pulling down 11 boards. The southpaw also shot 11-for-17 from the floor, establishing new career highs in both categories. The co-captain leads the team in scoring (13.3 ppg.), rebounding (7.3 rpg.) and blocks (41). Saint Joseph's is 12-7 overall and 7-2 in the Atlantic 10, one game behind Temple in the East Division. The Hawks take on Fordham in the Bronx on Sunday at noon.
