Stephanie Graff dominated the post in two games and was rewarded as the Atlantic 10 and Philadelphia Big 5 Player of the Week, the conference office announced today. The 6-2 forward averaged a double-double and became the 17th Hawk to reach the 1,000 point milestone in Sunday's 58-48 win over Richmond.
Graff scored 17 points and set a career-high with 16 rebounds in a crucial Atlantic 10 win over the Spiders. She responded with another double-double on Friday at St. Bonaventure, setting a career high with 25 points and pulling down 11 boards.
The southpaw also shot 11-for-17 from the floor, establishing new career highs in both categories.
The co-captain leads the team in scoring (13.3 ppg.), rebounding (7.3 rpg.) and blocks (41).
Saint Joseph's is 12-7 overall and 7-2 in the Atlantic 10, one game behind Temple in the East Division. The Hawks take on Fordham in the Bronx on Sunday at noon. Atlantic 10 Television will broadcast the game and it can be seen locally on Comcast SportsNet.
