PHILADELPHIA - Coach Phil Martelli and the Saint Joseph's men's basketball team will be honored two more times for its accomplishments last season at a pair of upcoming sportswriters awards banquets in Philadelphia (Jan. 24) and New Jersey (Jan. 30).

The Philadelphia Sports Writers Association will honor the Hawks as the "Team of the Year" at the organization's 101st annual awards banquet and dinner on Monday, January 24. The New Jersey Sports Writers Association will honor Martelli as its "Coach of the Year" at the group's 69th anniversary banquet on Sunday, January 30, at the Pines Manor in Edison, NJ. The luncheon begins at 11:30 a.m. with the program set for 12:30 p.m. until 2 p.m. Tickets are also available to the public at $45 and can be purchased by mailing checks payable to the New Jersey Sports Writers Association to P.O.
