After posting a memorable fall season, the Saint Joseph's golf team earned an 11th-place ranking in the Golf Coaches Association of America Mid-Atlantic Region Poll.
The Hawks were selected 11th in the 49-team region, and earned the highest seed amongst Big 5 schools.
Saint Joseph's 2005 fall season opened at the Navy Fall Invitational, with SJU earning a tie for fifth place while sophomore Colin Corrigan won an 11-hole playoff to earn medalist honors.
The following weekend, the Hawks swept awards at the Cornell Invitational, winning the team title by 22 strokes. Senior Billy Stewart claimed individual honors, including a course-record 63.
A second place finish at the Joe Agee Invitational also highlighted the fall season for the Hawks.
