The Saint Joseph's University golf team stands in seventh place after Saturday's second round of the 2006 Atlantic 10 Championship at the Orange County National Golf Course.
The Hawks posted a score of 297 today and shot a two-round score of 283-297/590. Saint Joseph's trails tournament-leading Xavier (561) by 29 strokes.
Individually, senior Billy Stewart and junior Phil Arouca are tied for 18th at 145. Stewart shot 73 today, while Arouca posted a 75. Sophomore Colin Corrigan is tied for 33rd at 74-74/148, while senior Sean Seese is tied for 44th at 77-77/154. Junior Ryan McCarty is tied for 50th place with a score of 80-75/155.
Richmond's Jordan Utley (136) holds a one-stroke lead heading the final round.
The final round begins Sunday morning at 8 a.m.
