The Saint Joseph's University golf team capped its 2005-06 season by placing seventh at the 2006 Atlantic 10 Championship at the Orange County National Golf Course.
In Sunday's final round, the Hawks shot 285 to finish with a three-round score of 293-297-285/875. Charlotte, playing in its first A-10 Championship, won the team title with a score of 837.
Individually, senior Billy Stewart posted a 69 today to finish in 13th place with a three-round score of 72-73-69/214. Junior Phil Arouca finished tied for 15th with a score of 70-75-71/216. Sophomore Colin Corrigan finished tied for 28th after posting a three-round score of 74-74-72/220. Senior Sean Seese tied for 45th at 77-77-73/227 and junior Ryan McCarty finished 49th at 80-75-74/229.
Xavier's John Streibich and Jason Kokrak tied for medalist honors as both finished at 206.
