PHILADELPHIA - The University of Pennsylvania men's soccer team scored a 4-0 victory Friday night against Saint Joseph's (0-6) at Rhodes Field in the Penn Soccer Classic.

Sophomore Mike Klein put the Quakers on the board early with a goal at 5:36. Alex Grendi and Omid Shokoufandeh made the play possible as both had chances at the net, but opted to shuffle the ball across the box and pull SJU keeper Joe Bodnar out of position.

Klein notched his second goal of the season in the 36th minute after a similar play in the box. Shokoufandeh started the action, serving the ball to senior Ryan Tracy in the box who passed to Klein to finish.

Senior Andy Howard helped seal the first half with a header at 44:35. Klein figured on that goal as well serving a free kick in to the scrum.

After halftime and three saves, the Hawks exchanged Bodnar for sophomore Bryan Benedict in net. Benedict made four saves in the half, but allowed a goal by Tracy at 86:02.

SJU will take on Princeton at noon on Sunday to continue play in the Classic, while Penn will host Duquesne at 2:30 p.m.
