In the final day of competition at the Navy Invitational, the Hawks earned three individual wins and one doubles win against players from University of Arkansas and University of Oklahoma.
Freshman Jarrett Chirico earned his third win in as many days, taking down Ryan Thomas of University of Oklahoma 6-3, 6-0 in the First Flight match-up. Matt Glasgow also earned his second individual win of the tournament, defeating Dmitry Lebedev 7-6(2), 6-2. Sergey Avdeyev of Oklahoma got the better of sophomore Pat Adams in a hard-fought match-up that went 6-4, 1-6, 6-4. Phil Bayliss made another strong showing, beating Dmitry Vlaskin in two close sets, 7-6(2), 7-6(9). Nicholas Tuxen lost in the fifth slot to Oklahoma's Frederico Chavarria, 6-3, 6-0 and Lucho Perez-Abreu fell 6-1, 6-0 to Jorge Villanueva of Arkansas.
In doubles action, Chirico and Bayliss teamed up to take on Thomas and Chavarria, losing 8-5. Junior Phil Garabedian paired with Adams for the number two slot, defeating Villanueva and Vlaskin 8-6. In the final doubles match-up of the day, Glasgow and Prusack were defeated 8-0 by Avdeyev and Lebedev.
Overall, the Hawks finished with nine individual wins and six doubles wins over the three-day tournament.
