DEVON, PA - Saint Joseph's rowing alum Dr. Richard J. Flanigan will hold a discussion and signing of his new book "Longevity Made Simple: How to Add 20 Good Years to Your Life" on Sunday, October 14, at Barnes & Noble in Devon, PA (150 West Swedesford Road).

Flanigan was inducted into the Saint Joseph's Athletics Hall of Fame in 2004, along with his brother Donald. The Flanigans were both members of SJU's inaugural varsity teams in 1959 and helped the Hawks to third place in the 1959 Dad Vail Varsity 8. The brothers were also members of the United States teams at the 1962 World Championships and the 1963 Pan American Games.

The book talks about how to add quality years to your life by identifying and preventing the greatest threats to your health.
