OVERPECK, N.J. – The Saint Joseph's men's rowing team opened the spring portion of its schedule with a strong showing over the weekend as the Hawks picked up victories in all three of their races at the Jesuit Invitational on Saturday.
How It Happened
• In a dominant performance, the Hawks' Varsity 8 took first place by nearly eight seconds over second place Loyola Maryland as St. Joe's crossed the line at 6:23.4.
• The Hawks' 2nd Varsity 8 earned a decisive win in its event as it edged out Fairfield for first place with a time of 6:44.6.
• Saint Joseph's Varsity 4 made it a clean sweep for the Hawks as they took first place in a time of 8:09.5.
