HANOVER, N.H. - The Saint Joseph's men's tennis team took part in this weekend's "Big Green" Invitational on the campus of Dartmouth College. Freshman Will Pearson reached the quarterfinals of the Singles "B" Flight bracket before falling to Michael Hayes of Harvard. Pearson and doubles partner Matt Prusack advanced to the semifinals in the Doubles "B" Flight bracket before bowing out to Marist's Antonio Oliver and Loic Sessagesimi, the eventual champions.

The men's tennis team will now take a two-month break from competition before the winter season starts up in January. The Hawks will kick off the 2008 portion of their schedule on January 19 at the Army Invitational in West Point, N.Y.
