PHILADELPHIA -
The Saint Joseph's University men's tennis team looks to build on the success they had last weekend against Saint Peter's College and La Salle University where they won both matches 5-0.
The Hawks gear up to take on Georgetown, Friday February 9, 2007 at the Arthur Ashe Tennis Center in Philadelphia.
SJU should be in good shape to perform well in this match against Georgetown. Success will start with the strong lineup set with Jarrett Chirico and Chris Chirico at the #1 and #2 spots. Behind the Chirico brothers, the Hawks will have Matthew Glasgow, who has a record of 2-1 on the season.
In the doubles match-ups the Hawks will have the Chiricos playing together at the #1 slot and teaming up at #2 will be Phil Garabedian and Matthew Glasgow. The duo is looking to continue their good play together at the second doubles spot as they did in the fall season.
The Hawks hope to improve their overall record to 3-1, with a win today in their first home match of the spring season. Match time is set for 6:00pm.
