WASHINGTON, DC - The SJU men's rowing team faired well at the GW Invitational Regatta in Washington, against the highly-competitive field of Cornell, Virginia, Michigan, Georgetown, GW, and Florida Institute of Technology.

The Freshman 8 came away with one win over Virginia, while the 3V had two winson the weekend. The Lightweight 8 was impressive against much bigger competition, competing in the 2V8 event. The Lights were extremely competitive, with races coming down to the final strokes.

The Hawks are back in action on Saturday, April 21, against the University of Delaware on the Schuylkill River.
