CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. - Saint Joseph's sophomore Dan Barrus and junior Tommy Gates were eliminated in the second round of the ITA Atlantic Regionals this weekend at the University of Virginia.

The Hawk duo fell to the fifth-seeded pairing of Thomas Dehaen and Nicholas Sayer of Radford, 8-2.

In the first round, Barrus and Gates defeated Jacob Braig and Ben Hoogland of William and Mary, 9-7.

The Hawks will take a three-month break from competition, kick-starting the spring semester with a match at Navy on January 28, 2012.
