Philadelphia, Pa - The Saint Joseph's men's cross country team concluded its season on Saturday at the IC4A Championships at Van Cortlandt Park in New York. Out of the 17 teams that competed, the Hawks placed fifth overall.
Junior Jon Mazzio was the top finisher for the Hawks, completing the 5 mile course in 25:43. His time was good enough to place 25th in a field of 154 runners.
Freshman Paul Szulewski and senior Dan Roark both crossed the line at 25:52 to earn 35th and 37th respectively. Junior Patrick Donnelly placed fourth on the team with a time of 25:56, earning a 42nd place finish. Rounding out the scoring for SJU was freshman Logan Mohn at 26:02.
Senior Kevin McDonnell will be competing at the NCAA Championships on Monday in Terre Haute, Indiana.
