ORLANDO, Fla. - The Saint Joseph's men's tennis team concluded its spring break trip this weekend, falling to South Dakota State, 4-3, and Old Dominion, 6-1.

In the matchup against the Jackrabbits, SJU took the doubles point by winning the top two matches, but SDSU took four of the six singles duels to win the match. Alex Veronis and Kristian Broaddus were winners at first and sixth singles, respectively.

Tommy Gates was the lone winner as the Hawks fell to the Monarchs. Gates took down his opponent 4-6, 6-3, 10-7 to earn the point.

The Hawks return home for a matchup with crosstown rival La Salle on Thursday afternoon at the SJU Tennis Complex.
