PHILADELPHIA -
Saint Joseph's University student-athletes continue to put up solid numbers posting a Graduation Success Rate (GSR) of 92 percent, according to the NCAA's 2012 GSR Report. This marks an increase from 91 percent in 2011.
The GSR report represents data from first-time freshmen, student-athletes who entered at midyear and student-athletes who transferred into a between 2002 and 2005, but excludes student-athletes who transfer from the university in good academic standing.
"We are again most proud of the academic outcomes of our student-athletes. Their commitment to learning and the emphasis and support of our coaches and academic support team is extraordinary," said director of athletics Don DiJulia. "When you couple this with the 99.3 percent APR we posted for the 2011-12 academic year, it puts Saint Joseph's in an elite category of institutions. We continue to commit to 'Seek the Magis, Live Greater and Develop Everyday Champions'."
