Tennis Teams Earn All-Academic Honors From ITA

PHILADELPHIA - Both the Saint Joseph's men's and women's tennis teams have earned Intercollegiate Tennis Association All-Academic Team honors, organization officials announced this week. Along with the team honors, nine Hawks were also recognized as ITA Scholar Athletes.

On the men's side, Devin Bostick, Paul Ganev, Jeff Kessler, Max Montague and Alex Veronis were recognized as ITA Scholar Athletes, while Aurora Davis, Kate Dowd, Lauren Roy and Tara Walsh were honored on the women's side.

ITA All-Academic Team honors are awarded to teams with a GPA of 3.20 or above for the 2011-12 school year. ITA Scholar Athletes must have a GPA of 3.50 or higher and competed for their team during the 2011-12 season.
