Women's Basketball Set to Face Vanderbilt in NCAA Tournament

The Saint Joseph's women's basketball team will take on Vanderbilt in the First Round of the NCAA Tournament on Saturday, March 23. Tip-off is set for 11:05 a.m. at Gampel Pavilion in Storrs, Connecticut.

2011-12: Scored season-high four points against La Salle and Saint Louis...Added eight rebounds to go with three points and two assists in win over Rhode Island...Hit first career three pointer in victory at Xavier...Grabbed eight rebounds and scored two points at Quinnipiac...Finished with two points, seven rebounds and a blocked shot versus Duquesne...Also scored two points against Sacred Heart, Lafayette, Richmond, George Washington, St. Bonaventure and VCU...Appeared in 22 games...Missed opening four game with a minor foot injury.

2010-11: Ranked second on the team in field goal percentage (.495)...Named to the 20th Annual Hawk Classic All-Tournament Team after scoring a season-high 20 points in the title-game victory over Lafayette...Tallied 12 points and added five rebounds in overtime victory against Detroit...Added 16 points and seven rebounds at Dayton...Scored 10 points and grabbed six rebounds in win at Rhode Island...Posted 11 points in victory at Duquesne...Appeared in 28 games and averaged 13.8 minutes per game.

International Competition: Competed for Latvia at the 2011 FIBA U-20 European Championships in Serbia...Averaged 3.7 points, and 3.6 rebounds over seven contests.Trained with the Latvian Under-20 National Team...Played for her country's Under-16 and Under-18 squads.
