Sean McCullagh begins his second season as assistant Freshman/Novice coach at his alma mater. He returns to Hawk Hill after a successful season as the freshman/novice coach at Roman Catholic High School.

McCullagh began rowing at LaSalle College High School. He rowed on the Varsity Lightweight 8 his sophomore year which took a gold medal at the Stotesbury Regatta, and rowed on the Varsity Heavyweight 8 his senior year. At SJU he was a member of the Freshman Lightweight 8 that captured gold medal at the Dad Vail Regatta. During his sophomore and senior year he rowed in the Varsity Lightweight 8. In McCullagh's senior year he was named co-captain of the Varsity team.

He currently works managing James J. McCullagh Roofing Inc. a family owned roofing and sheet metal business that does work throughout Philadelphia, New Jersey and Delaware.
