Every Monday, the Saint Joseph's women's lacrosse program will highlight one member of its 2014-15 squad. Leading us into our 19th week will be sophomore midfielder Sarah Smith, out of Jackson, New Jersey!
1. Why did you choose Saint Joseph's?
I really loved the campus, plus it's a great business school.
2. What is your favorite thing about Hawk Hill?
My team - duh!
3. Where is your favorite place on Hawk Hill?
Tough tie between the locker room and Campion.
4. What is the best course you've taken or are currently taking at Saint Joseph's?
I really love English class, so English 102 with Dr. Ford.
5. What is your major at Saint Joseph's? Dream job?
I'm a marketing major here because I'm outgoing and like to be a part of teams. I'd really love to work for a professional sports team around Philly. But hey, if that doesn't work out, I'd really love to coach college lacrosse.
6. Do you have any pregame rituals?
Blast the music and tie my left shoe first.
7. What is your favorite thing to do while not playing lacrosse?
Listen to music, watch Netflix, and be with my friends!
8. What is your favorite lacrosse memory?
Florida spring break.
9. Do you have any hidden talents?
I can make a clover with my tongue, does that count?
10. Who is your favorite professional team and athlete?
My favorite athlete is Becky Lynch. Go Eagles!
11. Who is your favorite musical artist?
Bastille is up there on the list.
12. If you could have any superpower, what would it be and why?
Teleportation for sure, because you can travel the world in just minutes.
13. What is your favorite food? Favorite restaurant?
Favorite restaurant is the Cheesecake Factory, and I love anything with cheese on it. So cheese is my favorite food, I guess.
14. If you were stranded on an island, what three things would you bring with you?
I'd bring matches for fire, a huge flannel blanket, and Joey, my dog.
15. If you could have dinner with three people, past or present, who would they be?
1. Beyoncé - because she's perfect.
2. My dad - because he's the man.
3. John Mayer - because I'm a huge, huge fan.
16. Who is your hero?
My dad, best guy I know.
