Box Score WASHINGTON, D.C. - The Saint Joseph's men's soccer squad dropped a 3-0 Atlantic 10 match at George Washington at the GW Soccer Field on Saturday afternoon. The Hawks now stand at 6-7-1 overall (3-2-0 A-10) while the Colonials improve to 7-3-5 (2-1-2 A-10).
Paced by Garrett Heine's two-goal performance, George Washington scored once early (7') and added two more in the second half (66', 76').
Saint Joseph's junior goalkeeper Greg O'Connell (6-7-1, 3-2-0 A-10) made one save (27') in the full-match performance.
Each team took nine shots, including an identical four in the first half and five in the second. Each squad landed four shots on goal. Saint Joseph's junior midfielder Matt Crawford took a team-high two shots, while senior forward Mori Diane (4'), Crawford (10'), sophomore forward Derek MacKinnon (57'), and sophomore transfer forward Isaac Agyapong (90') landed shots on goal.
