Senior Spotlight: Caroline Hagan

The Saint Joseph's women's lacrosse program will recognize its six seniors leading up to the regular-season finale at George Washington this Saturday. Saint Joseph's all-time leader in career caused turnovers, senior defender Caroline Hagan reflects on her career on Hawk Hill.

1. What is your favorite Saint Joseph's lacrosse memory?
It's hard to choose just one, but a game that really sticks out to me was beating Richmond this season to earn our second A-10 win on our home turf. I think it was a pivotal moment for our team, and afterwards, we had the greatest locker room celebration ever!!

2. How would you like to be remembered as a member of the Saint Joseph's lacrosse team?
I would like to be remembered as a good teammate who could always provide a laugh or lighten the mood when the mood needed to be lightened.

3. Describe the relationship of this senior class.
We are a very close group on and off the field. We have been through so much together the past four years, and I consider all of these girls my best friends.

4. What will you miss the most about Saint Joseph's lacrosse?
I will miss my teammates the most, and also being a part of something bigger than myself. Also 300s to the 25 and back, and all of Ben's hardest workouts.

5. What has being a member of the Saint Joseph's lacrosse program taught you?
Being a member of the SJU lacrosse program has taught me how to manage my time effectively and efficiently. This program has also helped me to develop a strong work ethic and taught me how to work well with others to achieve a common goal.

6. What will you take out of your involvement with the Saint Joseph's lacrosse program moving forward?
I will take all of the lessons and skills I learned from playing a Division I sport. I will cherish all of the friendships and happy memories that I have made throughout my four years here.
