ABOUT THE HAWKS
• The Hawks are looking for their first win of the new season after falling 58-52 to Temple on Friday
• Redshirt freshman Katie Jekot, who sat out last season with a knee injury, led all scorers with 16 points versus the Owls.
• Saint Joseph's hoisted 31 three-point attempts against Temple, their most in a game in over five years.
• Senior Alyssa Monaghan had a team-best five assists and added 14 points and seven boards versus the Owls.
• Making their debuts, junior Nailah Delinois (six points) and freshman Katie Mayock (eight points) both started for SJU.
• Rookie Elizabeth Marsicano had six points in her collegiate debut.
• SJU was 10-7 away from Hawk Hill last year.
HAWKS AND THE PRESEASON
• Saint Joseph's was picked fifth in the A-10 Preseason Poll.
• Last year's squad was picked third in the poll, and despite tying for fifth in the league, the Hawks reached the A-10 title game, advanced to the second round of the WNIT and finished the season with a 19-15 overall record.
• Alyssa Monaghan was named to the 2018-19 Atlantic 10 Preseason All-Conference Third Team
SJU VERSUS DREXEL
• Saint Joseph's has lost two straight to the Dragons, including a 65-58 loss last year at Hagan Arena on December 17.
• The Hawks have gone 2-5 in their previous matchups at Drexel.
