ABOUT THE HAWKS
• Saint Joseph's begins a four-game road swing this Thursday as the Hawks travel to Sacred Heart.
• Thursday's contest is set for 11 a.m. as part of the Pioneers' kids day promotion.
• The Hawks will compete outside of Philadelphia for the first time this season come Thursday. Despite playing a pair of road games already, SJU has remained local as it has traveled a combined 19.2 miles for its two road games at Drexel and Penn.
• Saint Joseph's wrapped up its seven-game home stand on December 10 with a 73-52 loss to Towson. The Hawks, who last played seven straight at home during the 2015-16 season, went 3-4 during their recent stretch.
• Sophomore Lula Roig finished with a career-high 16 points versus Towson, going 6-10 from the floor and 4-7 from the foul line.
• Graduate student Ashlyn Wert made her SJU debut against the Tigers, grabbing a pair of rebounds and adding a point.
• Freshman Katie Mayock is currently averaging 1.1 blocks per game and is on pace to reach SJU's top-10 for single-season rejections.
• Thursday's matchup with Pioneers is the third meeting in the series with SJU holding a 2-0 edge entering the game.
• For senior Kristalyn Baisden and graduate students Rachel Gartner and Sarah Veilleux, Thursday is a homecoming as the trio all grew up in Connecticut. Baisden is a native of East Hartford, while Gartner grew up in Danbury and Veilleux in Hebron.
HOISTING FROM DEEP
Saint Joseph's 31 three-point attempts versus Temple were the team's most in a single-game since January 10, 2010 when the Hawks attempted 31 at Maryland. SJU surpassed that mark versus Columbia with 33 attempts and attempted 32 against Auburn. The Hawks' all-time mark is 37 vs. Auburn on December 28, 1990, while SJU is on pace for 612 three-point attempts this season. The Hawks' program record is 511 set by the 1997-98 team.
THE ROAD TO 1,000
Senior Alyssa Monaghan is nearing the 1,000-point plateau for her career. A four-year starter, Monaghan would become the 27th Hawks to reach 1,000 career points. She enters Thursday with 957 points.
