ABOUT THE HAWKS
• Saint Joseph's caps the home portion of its schedule this Tuesday when the Hawks host George Washington at 7 p.m.
• Saint Joseph's will be wearing pink uniforms in conjunction with the WBCA's Pink Zone initiative to assist in raising breast cancer awareness on the court, across campuses, in communities and beyond.
• The Hawks have won four straight and are coming off a 70-49 victory over La Salle on Saturday.
• With Saturday's victory over the Explorers, the Hawks secured a home game for the First Round of the Atlantic 10 Championship. SJU will host an opponent to be determined on Tuesday, February 27 at 7 p.m.
• Additionally, the Hawks earned their ninth conference win of the season against La Salle, securing a winning mark in conference play for 30th time in program history. Finishing its 35th season of A-10 play, Saint Joseph's has posted a .500 or better record 32 times.
• Saint Joseph's enters Tuesday tied with the Colonials for fifth in the A-10 standings at 9-5.
LAST TIME OUT
• Saint Joseph's outscored La Salle 41-14 in the second half to earn a 70-49 victory over the Explorers.
• The Hawks held La Salle to just two points on 1-of-10 shooting and caused nine turnovers in the fourth quarter as SJU outscored the Explorers 21-2 in the final period.
• Junior Sarah Veilleux led four Hawks in double figures with a game-high 19 points.
SJU VERSUS GEORGE WASHINGTON
• Sunday marks the 60th meeting between Saint Joseph's and George Washington.
• The Hawks hold a slim 30-29 edge in the all-time series.
• George Washington has won the last four meetings versus SJU.
