The Saint Joseph's men's rowing Varsity 8 captured the feature event at the annual Kerr Cup on the Schuylkill River. With the victory, the Hawks ended Drexel's eight-year winning streak of the race.

The Hawks outdistanced Delaware to capture the race. SJU's boat was comprised of:  c- Jenn Reynolds; 8- Jack Darling; 7- Riley McGwin; 6- Garren Best; 5- Kjel Schlemmer; 4- Thomson Rymer; 3- Claudio Recchilungo; 2- Devin Swech; 1- Dave Gee

SJU also took second in the Third Varsity 8 with a lineup of: c- Caroline Seelig; 8- Josh Bostrom; 7- Rob McCullough; 6- Mike Geoghegan; 5- Gavin O'Connor; 4- Mike Thompson; 3- Jansen Kachel; 2- John Thompson; 1- Mike Fedele
