ABOUT THE HAWKS
• Saint Joseph's and Duquesne meet for 53rd time Wednesday night at the A.J. Palumbo Center.
• The Hawks hold a 43-9 edge in the all-time series against the Dukes and won the last meeting, 69-50, at Duquesne on February 10, 2018.
• Saint Joseph's is coming off one of its best all-around performances on the year in a 66-41 victory over St. Bonaventure on Sunday as it led wire to wire.
• The Hawks held the Bonnies to just 32.7 percent shooting, while connecting on 41.4 percent of their own shots at the other end.
• Senior Alyssa Monaghan led all scorers with 19 points versus St. Bonaventure as she finished the game 7-13 from the field, including 5-8 from three-point range.
• Monaghan, who averaged 20.0 points, 5.0 rebounds and 3.5 assists per game last week, was named Big 5 Player of the Week on Monday.
• Senior Kristalyn Baisden is coming off a season-best 16 points against the Bonnies.
• SJU posted a season-best eight blocked shots on Sunday and are currently leading the Atlantic 10 in blocks-per-game (5.4) in conference-only matchups.
