ABOUT THE HAWKS
• Saint Joseph's returns home this Sunday to host VCU in the second of two meetings this season with the Rams.
• Sunday's contest, set for a 2 p.m. start, is free to all fans with a free pretzel available to the first 100 fans.
• The Hawks are looking to avenge an earlier loss at VCU in the A-10-opening contest on January 5.
• Saint Joseph's is coming off a week's break following a thrilling matchup at Dayton last Sunday.
• The Hawks rallied in the final minutes to go to overtime with the Flyers thanks to a last-second three-pointer by Kristalyn Baisden.
• Dayton pulled out the win over SJU, but Baisden finished with a career-best 23 points, going 6-13 from the field, including 5-7 from three-point range and 6-7 from the foul line.
• Redshirt freshman Katie Jekot led the Hawks with a season-high 24 points against the Flyers.
• Sunday marks the 15th time in program history in which the Hawks have played on Super Bowl Sunday.
• Saint Joseph's has posted a 9-5 record in its previous contests on Super Bowl Sunday, with the AFC besting the NFC 10 times in those 14 instances.
