RALEIGH, N.C. - Saint Joseph's
Jancarla Herrera collected a pair of hits in the final game of the Fairfield Crabtree Invitational, however Indiana downed the Hawks, 5-0, on Sunday morning.
How It HappenedÂ
• Indiana took a 2-0 lead in the top of the first on a two-run home run by Grayson Radcliffe.Â
• A RBI single by Gabbi Jenkins and a two-run single by Radcliffe pushed the Hoosiers' lead to 5-0 in the fourth.
• The Hawks would get runners on base in the sixth and seventh, but Indiana never allowed SJU to advance past second.
•
Amanda Herr moved to 0-3 on the season as she tossed four innings and finished with three strike outs.
•
Ashley Stokes came on in relief and three three scoreless innings.
• Herrera accounted for both of Saint Joseph's hits as she finished the day going 2-for-3.
