As a result of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, NCAA, Atlantic 10, and Northeast Conference decisions announced this afternoon with regard to health and safety concerns related to the COVID-19 virus, Saint Joseph's University Athletics has decided to cancel all spring sports, Athletic Director Jill Bodensteiner announced on Thursday evening. 

"It is with a very heavy heart that I am confirming the cancellation of all spring sports at Saint Joseph's University -- including all training and competition. It is the right decision for the health and safety of the entire community, but I know that this outcome is devastating for our student-athletes, coaches, and so many others," said Bodensteiner. "To our student-athletes, I am incredibly grateful for and humbled by your dedication to Saint Joseph's University, your teammates, and your own personal growth."
