OLEAN, N.Y. – It was a dominant performance Saturday night by the Saint Joseph's men's soccer team (5-8-0, 3-2-0 A-10) as the Hawks defeated St. Bonaventure (2-7-1, 2-2-0 A-10), 1-0, with senior

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Saint Joseph's was aggressive in the first half with eight shots and three on net. The Hawks held the Bonnies to just one first half shot, but neither team scored.
- During the 59th minute, graduate student Aidan Watkins went over for a corner kick but just tapped the ball nearside to junior James Fletcher. Fletcher sent a cross in the box where Lyons sent a header home for the score.
BEHIND THE BOX SCORE:
- St. Joe's had 17 shots and six on net compared to just three total by the Bonnies with one on frame.
- The Hawks also dominated the corner kick battle, 11-1.
- Haavie (1-5-0) picked up his first career victory and shutout after making the one save.
- Lyons picked up his second score of the season, while Watkins and Fletcher each added an assist to their totals.
