The Saint Joseph's men's rowing team opened the fall portion of its schedule at the Navy Day Regatta on Sunday on the Schuylkill River.

How It Happened
• The Hawks raced six boats on the day with two taking part in the Varsity 8 event, one in the 2nd Varsity 8 event and three boats in the Varsity 4 category.
• In the Varsity 8 event, St. Joe's "A" boat placed ninth in a time of 11:20.61, while the Hawks' "B" boat finished 13th in the 28-boat competition with a time of 11:40.95.
• Saint Joseph's 2nd Varsity 8 finished fifth in its event in a time of 11:52.76.
• The Hawks' "A" boat placed third in the 27-team Varsity 4 event in a time of 12:19.54.
• Saint Joseph's Varsity 4 "B" finished 10th in a time of 12:46.36, while the Hawks' "C" boat placed 15th in a time of 13:01.00.
