Orendac's Late Goal Lifts Women's Soccer To Senior Day Win Over Loyola Chicago

Saint Joseph's Ashley Orendac scored with less than eight minutes to play to lift the Hawks to a 1-0 victory over Loyola Chicago on Senior Day at Sweeney Field.

How It Happened
• Saint Joseph's and Loyola Chicago played to a scoreless draw after 45 minutes as the Ramblers out shot the Hawks, 7-5.
• In a second half, Orendac broke through for the game-winner as she took a pass from Natalie Nevins in stride into the box, and delivered a shot inside the right post to make it 1-0 with 7:20 to go.
• St. Joe's defense smothered the Ramblers in the final minutes, holding the visitors without a shot to preserve the win.
