Women's Soccer's Memorable Season Comes To A Close Versus #10 Saint Louis In A-10 Semifinals

ST. LOUIS – Saint Joseph's women's soccer team's memorable season came to an end on Wednesday evening as the sixth seeded Hawks fell at top seed #10 Saint Louis, 2-0, in the semifinals of the 2022 Atlantic 10 Championship.

How It Happened
• Saint Louis' Abbie Miller converted a penalty kick to give the Billikens a 1-0 lead at 5:08.
• Caroline Kelly made it 2-0 at 70:14 as she converted Saint Louis' second penalty kick opportunity.

Inside The Boxscore
• Katie Cappelletti made a game-high seven saves.
• Nicole Angelini, Jiselle Daniels, Sam Dumont, Kayla Flanders and Ashley Orendac accounted for the Hawks' five shots.
• This season marked the eighth time in nine seasons St. Joe's earned an A-10 postseason berth.
